Alexandria Genesis, a superhuman. She was born with deep purple eyes, perfect vision, immune to all known diseases, never gained excess weight, her aging slowed down at 21. Others thrust it as a rare genetic disorder, even existence debated, but she’s lucky.
A California teen was struck by a train advancing at 45 miles per hour survived it, without any injuries. He’s lucky and miraculous.
Someone in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland are winners of $640M Lotto Jackpot. Though they ended our Mega Million fantasies, they’re lucky.
The luckiest I’ve got was when Katy Perry kissed me onstage in her concert. But then I woke up.

When we go through a whole day without having to raise our voices to the children, except in laughter.
Me, my wife and my 1 year old got upgraded to first class all the way from Dublin, Ireland to Chigago, Illinois for free. Felt lucky to me.
Nate-
When I finish a day at work and am reminded that I am loved and I am here to share that love with others!
I use the term lucky more often then I care to admit, as it is an easy statement to make however if truth be told, I do not fully believe in luck as I believe there are no accidents in life. We exist, breath live our lives as best we can. There are times in our lives where we experience difficulties. The day my youngest son, now this was many years ago, he had neuro-surgery very serious. I stood over him in ICU as I watched him breath. He recovered from that one only to need more surgeries later. Was that luck hmm I think the powers that be were taking care of my boy. Fate maybe or just wonderful love and a really great surgeon! But I have to say with all my philosophical thoughts, I felt pretty lucky that day and still do to have that young man in my life.
I have a huge list! I could have died a couple of times and have won a lot of prizes. I’ve had amazing experiences and would consider myself very lucky.
I feel myself most lucky when i see my family photograph
I feel lucky when I can’t stop smiling all day.
I call it “blessed” not “lucky”, and it happens every day.
Bouncing back from a horrible year, finding out I can move back home to be with family and friends who care about me. 🙂 Having people who I love and love me back makes me very lucky!
I feel lucky to have born into the family I was born into specifically to the parents that I have. And I also feel lucky knowing that I have often been handed a second chance or a third or a fourth to create a better life.
I think feeling lucky is to some degree a state of mind. Having a positive outlook and focusing on the good things in your life can make you feel lucky. I think I’m very lucky! In fact, my sister’s nickname for me is Lucky, although it’s shortened from her saying “Lucky to have me as a sister” so from her point of view… that’s not really the same thing is it haha! thanks for liking my post.
What a great post for encouraging so much positive energy!
I have always felt lucky to be born in the country in which I live (Canada). When there are so many who have been born in war zones, to unbelievable poverty, in areas of our globe that are under threat of monumental disasters like tsunamis and earthquakes, I can’t BELIEVE my luck. On the lighter side, I have lost my wallet more times than I can count and it as ALways been returned, money and ID in tact.
I never think about luck–just grace, peace, hope, and hard work. 😀
I was lucky to stumble upon blogging – I finally found my people 🙂
It is truly heart warming to read yours and your readers’ comments. It seems like so much of our culture is “gambling” on making and spending more money–it is wonderful that the people who blog don’t rely upon Luck to feel accomplished, loved and be successful. Thank you for offering a forum for folks to speak out on this–Barb
Luck? That seems to be missing at the moment … although people often remind me that I’m lucky to be healthy 🙂
I am not sure i believe in luck, but am sure i believe in miracles. 🙂
I wake up ever day breathing in the beauty of the Earth. That’s pretty cool.
I’ll be lucky when I’m holding my son in my arms again. He’s my lucky charm and most important in my life.
